English is universal and entirely relevant in the 21st century. There is a phrase that brings chills to most non-native speakers. " Do you speak English"? Even if they have had English in secondary school, they tend to shrug ad reply in the negative. Learning English is only good if you use it. Am I saying you should not take courses to improve your English? No, of course not! But, if you don't venture outside your comfort zone and seek out ways to speak English, it was time and money wasted.
